Then it is encrypted and KeePassDroid will open. Now to access your KeePass file you always have to open BoxCryptor and tap on it. Choose your synchronized BoxCryptor and type in your password. Then open BoxCryptor and connect to local storage. To do this setup up DropSync and synchronize your files to your device. Grüße aus Heidelberg - dachte englisch is better so everyone hat was davon :-)įirst of all you can use DropSync, KeePass and BoxCryptor. (more precise than the nativ dropboy app's favorite-feature ) ĭropSync because it detects changes and syncs by a scheduler etc. On Android there is no way of opening the encrypted files without opening the BoxCryptor app, right?!įor me this would mean that I always would have to open BoxCryptor and then open the KeePassDroid database - a bit uncomfortable campared to the desktop scenario. So before trying and risking a couple of hours and even safety of my files -) To access the encrypted database on Android - in opposite to the desktop app where it gets mounted as a drive - I would have to open the BoxCryptor app. I surely cannot point KeePassDroid to the encrypted folder - useless because encrypted. How will I be able to open this database when BoxCryptor comes into play? When I sync my Dropbox with DropSync I simply have to open the KeePassDroid database from the sync-folder. Because I would like to start using Boxcryptor on my Desktop PC's I'm wondering how 'comfortable' or even practical the usage scenario would be on my Android smartphone!
